Antares Saddle
Does anyone know of a specific business or person who could do this?
I really want to buy a complete collection of antares tack for my horse and I! That means a saddle, bridle, running martingale, girth, front and hind jumping boots, stirrup leathers... and a breastplate. I have been able to find all of the other pieces with brown elastic (I'm not a big fan of the blue stripes.) but I'm not seeing any brown elastic or full-leather Antares breastplates. If you know of any, I'd love to hear, but since I've already done an extensive search of the internet, I'm guessing you don't. If I was to get the breastplate with blue elastic, do you know of anyone who could help me replace it with a brown that matches the rest of tack? Do you think I could order extra brown elastic right from the Antares company?

That is some very nice tack, French quality 
I am not familiar with the brand, have not seen it here in Aus, but it looks to be very nice stuff.
I think the blue stripes look very nice (especially on the very nice world cup jumper I saw it on but if you really don't like it. Then You can simply take it to any saddler and ask them to unpick the sewn bits and sew in some new brown elastic. It will be a very simple and cheap way to solve your problem.
Just make sure it is of good quality and that your happy with it before you do, as obviously you wont be able to return it and you wont be covered by the defect warranty anymore as it has been altered.
If your jumping then a solid leather breastplate is not the best way to go. So either alter the elastic or give the stripe a chance to grow on you.. LOL
You can try to email them and ask if you can order a custom made one, the worst they can do is say no. They may be hesitant though as the stripes may be a type of trade mark as people know which brand it is from a distance.

antares hamton classic saddle?
i am looking for an antares hampton classic saddle in NJ.i would prefer it used but new is fine also. ive looked for them all over but cant seem to find any. thank you.
Good-quality saddles are sold very quickly. Even in these times its hard to find a nice saddle like an Antares in good quality/new and in your size.
I would recommend this site http://www.fine-used-saddles.com/links.htm and if you don't find the saddle you want, keep checking because it always changes.
