Do you think that the Baltimore Ravens should Draft a QB early?
With Boller and Troy Smith battling now for the starting job, can the Ravens make it happen, or should they grab matt ryan in the draft, assuming he's available?
I dont think they should. Smith showed promise toward the end of last season. With a healthy team and a new outlook on things, with Cam at the helm, the Ravens offense might be better next season. The Ravens have a young inexperienced offensive line and they are going to have some bumps in the road, they need a more mobile guy like Smith. Throw a guy like Ryan back there and what you will get is another Kyle Boller. They could get a guy like Brohm, who is just as good and could come in after sitting for a year and allowing the Oline and young recieving core to develop some more and be the guy if Smith doesnt work out. And he will cost them a hell of a lot less, which is important given their current cap situation.
