bates saddle tree
luc childeric cc saddles?
I was wondering if anybody could give me any information the tree sizing for these saddles. I have found a used childeric "H" model for a reasonable price in which will fit me, however I'm not entirely sure of the tree sizes. This particular saddle is a regular (medium) tree measuring approx. 4.5" across from the two dots. I am currently riding my horse in a medium-wide older Bates Caprilli (that doesn't fit my leg anymore) and was wondering how these 2 saddles may possibly compare in their tree sizing?
ap1188 - I was thinking that the tree was on the roomier side too...the reason is because I see them on warmbloods all the time and I'm sure there aren't THAT man a/o trees (open/wide). However, I thought that they were foam stuffed as opposed to wool?
Rosi-this one that I found is actually much cheaper than $3,000 which is why I am really curious about learning a bit more about the saddle 
I tried to get more information on them and all I could tell you is that they are a CC saddle and the site I went to wanted $3,000.00 (CN) for a 17." used saddle with a MED tree. I would for my money go for a Stubben Edelweiss CC or Stubben Artus C.
