What kind of grades do I need to get into a top university?
Do I need all A*s (GCSE and A-Levels) to get into Oxford, Cambridge, Yale or Harvard (or one of the other top universities), to study English Literature?
The higher, the better! But do check with each University you want to attend and, in particular, requirements for each program!
As for extra-curricular stuff - tha's good but not if it interferes with your studies. Finally, University demands that one is a student in the true sense of the word (studies, homework, develops, prepares for "real" world"...etc!) Good luck! Now check with each one (visit, app't, website, call whatever!)
