Cheap Used English Saddles
What's a good English saddle pad for a horse with low withers and a saddle that slips when I mount?
The issue isn't incredibly huge, my saddle seems to fit fine when I'm on my horse but I have a relatively cheap all-purpose english saddle that I've had for years and used on many different horses and it's a pretty wide saddle. My horse has low and not-prominent withers which is why (according to the barn owner) the saddle slips when I mount. Once I'm on and straighten it out it seems to stay even just fine. And yes, my girth is tight.
So, is there a special non-slip saddle pad you'd recommend?
Or should I just buy a saddle that fits him better? I ride 50% english, 50% western so it's not a saddle he's having used on him more than once or twice a week.

If you get the non-slip gel half pad it works wonders for a slippery saddle or even a slipper saddle pad. I have it and I love it! You put it directly on the horse's back and it is very breathable

EDIT: It's meant to be put directly onto of the horse's back with a regular saddle pad placed onto then the saddle.

The saddle is definitely too far back in those pictures. The boots look fine though.
