cheap wintec saddles
Where Can I find cheaper but good saddlery in Austraila ??
Hi Love wintec as a saddlery brand they are $599 so is there any I can by that are good quilty but muby secound hand ?? or new but cheper ?? is there any type of brand of saddle thats a great saddle good on your horses back and great quilty ??

In my opinion you get what you pay for & $599 for a wintec's a pretty good price considering it'll last you for a very long time! There's no such thing as 'cheap' & 'good'. Personally I think value for money you can't go past the Keiffer Genf but that's even more expensive than wintec. Invest in your saddle & it'll pay off in the long run. There's an old saying "I'm too poor to buy cheap goods", meaning generally if you buy cheaper quality products you'll end up having to replace them alot sooner than if you buy the best you can afford.

Wow, that whole saddle situation just sucks. I don't know anything about Schleese saddles and their customer service so my comment is only based on your experience but it sounds like they are used to dealing with high end clients who just hand them a blank check to do whatever needs to be done. I feel for you.
I am in agreement with suebee26 about considering the Wintec saddles for the young horse. I bought a Wintec 2000 all purpose as my “beater” saddle for Monty and it has been great in that it also fit Rugby perfectly with a simple gullet change. It's a better looking saddle than you might think, sooo easy to take care of and very, very comfortable. I am a “leather snob” and have a Bruno DelGrange jumping saddle to compare it to. I love my leather saddle but I live in that Wintec. They always sell on Ebay, so if you get one and want to sell it on later, you will get a return on your money. Prices on the old style Wintec 2000's are very good right now since they just changed the design. Check it out and see if you can test ride in one!
