Can i use a bottom bracket conversion kit on my '75 Schwinn Collegiate?
i need to get a bottom bracket adapter for my bike so i could put a more modern BB. it's a 51cm '75 Schwinn Collegiate.
could i use this conversion kit (http://www.choppersus.com/store/product/168/Bottom-Bracket-Conversion-Kit/) to convert my bike to a fixed gear bike?
or should i just get an adapter and buy a modern BB?

sorry, but your bike is a hunk of junk.
read the history of schwinn on sheldonbrown.com, you'll see that they made a ton of crappy bikes, but people don't know any better, like the mcdonalds "1 million customers blah blah" thing, they assume that volume is good.
save your money, look for a quality bicycle and build your bike the right way with a real track wheel.
