courbette saddle fit
Can anyone help me with this saddle pad issue?
My mare is semi-mutton witherd. I ride in a close contact saddle and it seem to be pinching her (it looks like she is getting thin swollen lines where the panels sit). I ride with just a sheepskin half pad. Im wondering if there is a different kind of pad to put under my mare's saddle so that it can fit better. I got my saddle used and free its a Courbette Alpina, so I cant really afford to go and buy another saddle., but I can afford to buy a good quality saddle pad that can fit my saddle better.
Plz help me! If you are suggesting a pad to use, please include links if possible.
Im afraid if you want a happy horse it's not a case of making the horse fit the saddle by use of pads. Saddlers can make minor adjustments to the saddle in order for it to fit the horse, if you don't want to buy a new saddle, so contact one and find out 
Think about how happier your horse will be in the long run!
