How can I cover scars on black horse?
My Black thoroughbred rolled near a fence and cut his back leg about 2 months ago. It has nearly all closed up but im worried that it may scar. I want to use him as a show horse, any ideas on hiding the scars if he has any?
As it heals, rub Vitamin E cream or oil on it and then when you show, you can get black spray from Sallys or Valley Vet to cover it up.
We did it all the time with show horses.

horse riding show help?
im going 2 a show on sunday ( 1week from 2day) and am doing a mixture of events so will be wearing black jacket, black tie, cream jods etc. Is it alright if i wear a navy blue velvet riding hat or do i have to get a black hat cover? thanksx
Depends on your level. If you're amatuerish, I'm sure navy will be fine. If you're a bit better then that, I'd go with the cover. Black and navy blue clash anyway. I personally would get the cover.

Never run in front of a horse with blinders on. He won't see you until the last second, by then it's too late. Guy at 1:31 learned that the hard way. In fact, don't ever run in front of freaked out horse AT ALL. I know from experience he/she will stop if you stand in their way sometimes, but only if they are somewhat calm, and not running in fear in the first place.
this is Awesome Brittany! How did you ever get into the International Horse Show? You two are a great team.
