What dressage saddle accecories to I need?
Hi 
I just bought a quality 17 1/2 inch dressage saddle. I have the stirrup leathers and irons and now I just need the blanket. I have been riding for years, but I'm new to english saddles. What kind of blanket should I get (and where can I buy it online...for a good price-something practical and quality, doesn't have to be topnotch)? My friend has a fleece pad that she puts in between the saddle and the blanket....do I need one of those too? The horse that I inend to ride is a ginormous TB and he has semiprominent withers. I want to make the saddle as comfortable for him as possible, so please tell me what I need to get and where I could find it.

Ok, so you've got your saddle, stirrups and irons, what about a girth? I'll just assume that you've got one of those too.
Dover Saddlery is an online english equine store. They have everything you will ever need and offer high quality, reasonably priced equipment.
As far as the extra fleece pad, that would probably be a good idea on a tb. You can buy that separate, or just buy a saddle pad that already has one built in.

can you ware a piped saddle cloth for british dressage?
I brought a new numnah an it has gold piping around the outside. Would this be acceptable for british dressage? The rest is all plain white and square like a normal dressage pad. I know you can for normal dressage but not sure about british dressage. thankkksss
yeah i think it should be fine- not rli sure you could contact the show you are doing to see or ask your instructor but people are always trying to get there gear to 'Sparkel in the lights' so i think this bit of extra decoration will realy bring focud onto your horses back. if she has a good topline and lots of muscle it will bring there atentiton to this and rei show your horse off.

eh, its good if thats all there is out there. i would make sure its in good condition though since all your planning is practice. make sure it'll last you a while and its safe. thats whats most important.
