English Racing Saddle
Advice on riding a racehorse.?
I am considering taking a position as a racehorse exerciser. I have been riding horses for 18 years. I have lots of riding experience, but have no race track experience. Is there somebody out there who has done this job before, and can they give me insight, or refer me to a reference source where I can learn more before I jump into this. I'm not afraid of riding fast, but I'd like to know what to expect before I get into this. Also what kind of saddle do you ride in? Is it a racing saddle or an english pleasure saddle?
Way to go Linda K.Great answer just wanted to add one thing.I don't know where your at square h but for young horses being broke and starting training Ocala Fla seems to be the spot.I was down there a cpl of times to pick up horses and there is nothing but big farms as far as you can see.Good luck to you.
