If there is no such thing as "proper english" then why are we wasting money paying english teachers?
Since people have "different dialects" then lets get rid of english teachers and let people speak english as they speak. If someone writes an essay lets let them say stuff like "george washington done cut da cherry tree when he was a lil boi" and tell them "it's a dialect".
Right? And lets quit worrying about illegal immigrants speaking broken english to the point where you cant understand them. After all they do have their own "dialect" right?
