Used English Saddles
How much do English saddles cost?
I have two western saddles (one smaller one bigger), but I'm not selling. Both are very nice. Plus I only know how to ride Western and it would suck if I sold them or trades them for a English saddle and never used it. So around how much do they cost? I want to learn how to jump, everyone said Western is bad for jumping.
we i have seen them range anywhere from $99-$10,000 brand new. the best place other then your local tack store to buy things ( in my opinion) is either ebay.com or doversaddlery.com

Because of the poor horse market, it really depends on where you live. I'm from the south U.S., and horses (no matter what the breed, ability, or registry) are going anywhere from $400-$2000.
He's a nice looking horse, and from what you say about him he'd seem like a great buy. I'd probably give you anywhere from $900-$1200 for him so long as he's been checked by a vet and is sound.
If you're more north, however, you could probably fetch anywhere from $2000-$6500 for him.
