what are some tips on buying a saddle?
just got a horse, 5 yr old quarter, i have been looking at tack shops online for a cheap, yet good saddle. I ride english, mostly walk trot canter, trails, no jumping. I live in Canada and have looked at GreenHawk and Apple Saddlery. Also any tips on saddle fitting both me and the horse would be great. Thanks
I'd go to ebay if I were looking for a good saddle. Your QH probably wears a medium to wide tree. And your seat size you'll find by taking a tape measurer and measuring from your hip to your knee.
I'd look at used Stubbens. Siegfried All Purpose are GREAT for doing whatever you want to do with your horse.
