Saddle type?

OK I just got a starter package for a saddle and it was made in India. I know that's not a good place for it to be made but just for now I use it untill I can get a better quality one. My problem is I need to find a saddle that's not made in India or Argentinia, with good quality, but also a low price because I am saving my money for one. Any saddles? (BTW Im talking about an English saddle)
I read in one of my books that those aren't best for horses it sounds like they are OK from what I've read so far.

What's wrong with a saddle made in Argentina? My first saddle was from Argentina and I loved it! Now it wasn't the highest quality saddle, but it handled an eight year old or even younger kid very well. I was Christmas present for me and my mom got it for only $450, we sold it for $400 about five or more years after we bought it. We also kept it nice and oiled and clean, we oiled like almost once a month.

I would strongly suggest that you not get a Wintec, Bates, or any saddle that has panels that aren't anything but wool. CAIR panels are actually made of air and they have a wool lining, but they cannot be adjusted. Collegiate makes a decent saddle, but they are poorly sewn together and have cheap leather.

If you had the money, I would simply say Custom Brand saddles (www.mysaddle.com) but those saddles are really expensive. But they are high quality leather and are well sewn.

I would suggest that you go to a tack store that sells used tack. Also, the local advertisements will also be a go spot. If you look used, then you will find a larger selection than you will if you want a new saddle. Used saddles are also cheaper than new saddles.
