Any reviews on Lafitte english close contact saddle?

Hey I was thinking about getting this saddle for me and my horse to use for 4-H shows and fair. Is it worth its price, is it comfortable, and, well, do you suggest it in general?? Thanks!

I just got this saddle the other day. I must say that it is beautiful and the seat and some of the other areas are made of very high quality leather while other parts are made of leather of a lesser quality. However, my old girth does not work with this new saddle and I have not gotton my new one yet. Also, when ordered a week or two ago it was 25 dollars+free shipping cheaper on statelinetack.com . If you have any other questions feel free to email me them.

PUBLIC ENEMIES REVIEW

what do think about this saddle?

http://www.horseloverz.com/Courbette-Arosa-Close-Contact-English-Saddle-pr-153997.html

I have read reviews with people hating or loving it. just wanted to get more opinions. I personally think it looks amazingly comfortable, and I also picked it because of the color. I have a black bay mare and I think the newmarket color is a stunning contrast with dark coats, and this was one of the few that had this particular color. plus I like the E-motion tree concept. Also- do you think it would match this breastplate?:

and also the bridle that goes with that breastplate. do you think the color would fade terribly or anything?

Courbette has been around for quite a while. The saddles show good workmanship. I wouldn't be afraid of purchasing one. Of course if I had my choice, I would go with a new Siegfried by Stubben, seing how the last one I bought will be 40 years old next year.

As for the bridle and breastplate, they "look" good but I'm not able to run my hands across the leather and look at the stitches up close. Do you know WHERE they were manufactured? Find that out first BEFORE you buy. If made in Europe, then go for it! If made in Argentina or India, I'd rethink it.
