I need something for when I go cross country schooling, during the jumping phase of a 2 phase, and for general hacking/riding/training in jumping and dressage at home.
If you don’t like the boots I found what are your suggestions? Are they worth the price? My horse needs support in the front, and brush protection in the back and his splint boots are just getting ruined in back.
I *will not* buy the woof boots w. two Velcro strips... I h a t e them for my horse...
My horse just wears simple galloping boots, but my sister (and a lot of people at my barn) uses the Eskadron ones and loves them for jumping. Most of these people use them for cross-country, but some have different boots for stadium. That isn't necessary; they work fine for both. I personally think they are a great boot. I like open front for jumping so that the horse doesn't become immune to hitting rails. If you're willing to spend the money, then go for it.
I don't show…but…for $800 and that background (and his looks) he sounds like a great deal.
