Can some please explain this Excel Verification Formula in plain english? =IF(OR(X39="",X39=sol.!X35),"","*")
It is used to check answers in a homework assignment I have and I think it is messed up.
=IF(OR(X39="",X39=sol.!X35),"","*")
If those X39 is blank or equal to sol.!X35 then result is "" else result is "*"

Are some so eager to get free stuff they are blind to the waiting wolf?
Being taken care of from cradle to grave is appealing to some - too many decisions to make, too much work. As long as you don't make waves, don't try to excel beyond your neighbor, don't get in the way of the ever expanding gov't, be happy as long as the gov't approves.
Is it ignorance of history, emotions and not thinking, or just plain laziness that leads some to think contrary to our Constitution's limited government?
We are much like the Romans.
Once our needs are satisfied society starts to become lazy and slothful - we let the government start handing out our wealth to everyone that doesn't want to produce anything and society crumbles.

Why does Excel for Mac always warn me that every file contains VB macros, even plain text CSV files?
This is a common issue amongst programs such as Open Office, and Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint, what you could do is go to a safe website such as 1001fonts.com and look for the font, then you would load your Control Panel, on Windows is what you are using I believe because WordPad is a Microsoft Program, and on the side there should be a blue bar or green, depending on your color scheme, and it should say "Switch to Classic View" click on it and look for the Fonts folder. The download ZIP file the font came in should be extracted and copy the True Type or All Res file and copy and paste it into the folder, a screen should pop up with the download percentage. And TADA you have installed the font!
Wow, that's really amazing, that's almost IDENTICAL to what i did. it took me 3 days of playing with it to get it to work correctly. and no, there isn't a better way to do it.
