Fox Close
ho do i close the fire fox application so i can install adobe flash player?
my screen is prompting me to close the fire fox application before i can install adobe flash player and i dont understand that because no window is open on my computer
Sounds like Firefox is stuck running even though you've closed all the windows. You could restart, but if don't want to do this: Press Ctrl+Alt+Del and open the Task Manager. On the Processes tab see if you can find Firefox.exe. If you see it, select it and End Process. You may get a warning prompt asking you if you want to do this. Click yes. Check to make sure you don't see anymore Firefox.exe's in there running, because sometimes you can get multiple ones running. Now close the task manager and try the install again.
If this doesn't work, do a restart.
