Do you think you will still be able to afford your horse with rising prices?
I'm definitely feeling the strain, and I'm really worried. I've cut back to pasture board, I'm not showing anymore, or taking lessons. It costs me $200 for gas every month, and now hay is $10 a bale, feed is $15 a bag. Do you think you will be able to keep your horse(s) through these bad economic times?

Help. How can I regrow this horse's tail before shows?
Hi everyone. I just bought a new AQHA show horse a couple of days ago. While I am an experienced owner, I have never run across a problem like this. My new mare (4 yrs old) has a very short, almost yearling-like tail. My gelding has always had a wonderful tail, but I keep it nice using a tail bag and MTG. (mane and tail grow) This horse is going to her AQHA show in JUNE!! I thought maybe you all may have some insight and tricks to get her tail fuller and longer FAST. She does have her tail extension, but I really want to help her natural tail. Any thoughts, guys? Thanks so much for your time!
I do this to my horses so their tails grow longer and fuller: I brush it out really well, Put some mane and tail conditioner and/or detangler on it, Massage it in really well, And braid it.
If you want their tail to grow long and still look attractive while its braided, go to one of these websites, they have very pretty tail bags and 3 tube tail bags that you braid with the horses tail.

Ill explain them, the tail bag is were you braid the horses tail and put them in the bag, and tie the bag into the braids. I have the 3 Tube Tail Bag, you thie the top at the horses tail right below were the tail bone ends, then you reach your hand through 3 tubes one at a time and pull troug 1/3 of the tail, pull 1/3 throught the 3 tubes, then you braid the tubes together, and there you go! It explains it better on the 2 pages i listed. I have the 3 Tube Tail Bags and it works great! It comes in all kinds of materials and colors. You can also massage conditioner in the horses tail, put the 3 Tube Tail Bag on, and the Tail Bag keeps the conditioner in the horses tail and helps it grow really long. My horses tail grew 5 inches in 2 weeks. It works great! Its really easy to clean and care for!
Bye the way, tally is very wrong. Braiding it helps it grow longer and fuller. Trust me, i own and show proffesional Tennessee Walking Horses!

You should look into having your books put on sale at the Kentucky Horse Center in Lexington, KY.
They have world class Dressage shows and any other kind of horse show there is.
They have lots of books on riding for sale and I told Dolly that it would be a great place to get yours placed to sell.
