which bridle to choose?
bridle #1- don't know what brand, but i can tell it is easily adjustable. doesn't have a matching brow-band but i could buy a matching one for $5. i don't really like the feel of the reins. it comes with a bit, a nice one but not the one i need to use but i could resell it or give it to my friend who wants it. the bridle is $20. o yeah and where the brow-band attaches the part that goes behind the ears when on the horse is like an inch thick and weird. and the bridle is really dirty but it can be cleaned to look good as new. and its dressage and used

easily adjustable. not sure if used or new. holes on the nose-band is a little bit hard to use but im sure that will change. very pretty. an matches my saddle, but so does the other one. $75
or should i buy both? but if i had to pick which one should i choose? or should i get both?
and how do you feel about bareback pads with stirrups. one i saw there was only $20.
I'd get both. You will need to have a couple of bits ready to go; it always seems like I need a different bit about once and month; I usually use a happy mouth regular snaffle, but there are times I need to have the metal in the mouth to get a point across. I hate to change the headstall when I can just whip out a whole different rig so much quicker.
Beware of bareback pads with stirrups; you can't tighten the girth/cinch enough to hold the pad steady when you mount or worse yet when riding if you do actually accidentally step in one stirrup, then you are off, hung up, and usually under the horse. If the stirrups come off, then go ahead and get the pad, but throw those stupid stirrups away.
