Help removing green mold from brass on saddles?
I have a wintec Isabell Werth synthetic saddle; it has brass buckles and screws.
On the brass bits there is this greeny-white mould stuff on it.
I think its mold; i've tried washing it in a bit of vinegar, even scrubbing it but it wont come off?
i want it gone because even though it is just my training saddle it looks dirty and i dont want it to get any worse or get on any of my good saddles!!
Any brass metal cleaner will work. It's probably tarnish. Usually what happens when you clean metal it then needs to be polished, otherwise the surface will have a slightly matte appearance. Get some polishing compound, like the kind used on cars, a buffing pad that works with an electric drill, and you can buff that thing up to a mirror shine. That's what's good about brass, you can clean and polish it and make it look just like new. Clean it up first with the metal cleaner, then take the polishing compound and buff it to a shine.
Using this technique I have been able to take old hinges that had tarnished to a dark brown and clean and polish them to a bright, shiny brass mirror finish.
Duraglit is a metal polish, sold under the name Brasso, also good is Noxon, and you can get this in the metal cleaning section of most supermarkets.
After you do this however, to keep it from tarnishing again, it's a good idea to brush on a thin coat of glossy lacquer.

I'd get a vet to check him out. If he's still got the other nut, you'll want to pay for a surgery to remove it.
Then his level of testosterone can go down.
There's nothing you can do about it. He's not aggressive, he's acting totally normal for a stallion, which is what he believes he is. So, first thing, understand where he's coming from. It's not his fault you didn't pay closer attention to what you were getting.
Second, treat him like a stud, and that means don't put him in with other horses. He will have to be isolated until you can get a vet out to take care of the situation.
Third….get better fencing where he won't get hung up with a shoe or something worse happens to him because the fencing was not stallion-proof.
Fourth, accept that you bought a stallion and get that problem fixed via a vet.
