Jumper Buffalo
So......How about those Pens!?!?!?!?
Not to bag on all you Penguin Band Wagon jumpers, but the game tonight where Buffalo Smoked them and showed them how young of a team they really are and how bad the goal keeping really is should open up everybody's eyes, and get them off of Crosby's nuts. But, tell me what you think.
Well, number 1 I am not a bandwagon fan and refuse to ever be one for any team. That being said, yes the Sabres handed the Pens their ***es the other night. I was at the game, and one of the few that stayed the entire game.
Yes, they are a young team. And they really did show that they are still not able to produce consistently. Only this time they didn't get lucky.
The goaltending is not really as bad as some people think. In fact, the problem with the Pens is defense. We only have one defenseman who goes for the body and not the puck when it's in front of the goal. And only one defenseman who knows to take away the pass not the shot when it's an odd-man rush.
So to summarize, I'm not arguing that the Pens played horribly against the Sabres. I'm not arguing that a lot of the fans at that game were bandwagon. I'm not arguing that the team is young and inexperienced. I'm just saying that they are a good team with a lot to work on.
