I don't know which brands have the best quality leather as I don't have the luxury of going to a tack shop, but that's why I need your help. Suggestions of other brands and links to bridles I can purchase would be appreciated, but keep them under $150.

I am a hunter jumper and have been for 9 years, so here is my personal input: Halo looks to be a darker bay. I would go with the collegiate fancy, it is very nice looking, and I personally think it would look nice on him, it is not too light, and it matches his color nicely. From what I've learned, that is key in the hunter ring, you want your bridle to sorta match your horses color if he his lighter or darker.
I really love the stitching on the brow band and noseband. I think it is nice to have something on there then just having a plain bridle. Since in the hunter ring you are not allowed to have like bright brow bands, jewled ones.
I would go with the second one;.
