My posistion is good. I just cant sit to canter perfectly, some isit better thn others. But all my friends are much taller and ride horse whilst i ride the ponies. Nd they sit so well! they hav all had privates tho nd i dont really want to cas of money...but any suggestions welcome.

Some horses are harder to seat than others. I've rode Arabians/Thoroughbreds and QH's mostly (currently getting Into gaited horses). I could sit there canter(s) very well. My friend put me on a Friesian, who naturally have a long rougher kind of canter. I almost fell off, every time I tried to sit In, he would throw me off center. It took about 25-30mins of loping to find his center and keep my seat balanced. Its not always the rider throwing off the movement, some people just dont have the posture to sit heavy canters. Specially If you have short legs, and a long torso. You have to even out your body to find the center of your horse.
I know It may sound weird, but Until you find the center of your horses back, and relaxe to the rythem. Your In for one BUMPY ride! Try loping on a short rein, or get a very experienced horse that knows how to extend and reduce the speed of his canter. That way you can find your center early on In the slower lope. Then grab slowly at finding the right seat at a faster lope. It makes it WAY easier to find a comfortable rythem for riding the canter. That way you can go on to another horse that may have a faster canter. Another thing, some younger horses or poorly trained horses have what trainers/people call a "rocky or unstable" canter. Basically Its a horse that wasnt properly trained to canter under saddle. good luck!

In saddle seat, a deep seat saddle is also called an equitation saddle. The seat is not, in fact, any deeper, but the cantle is higher. They are very popular in equitation because they allow a more secure seat. It has, over the past 10 years or so, become increasingly more popular with amateurs, who used to favor a flatter saddle. The cantle is typically rounded.
A flat saddle is... well, essentially flat, and generally not called a flat seat, but just a regular saddle seat or lane fox saddle. The cantle is lower than a deep seat, which creates a less secure spot for the rider, but allows for a rider who needs to adjust his seat for the horse he's riding. Favored by trainers. The cantle is usually squared.
