Saddle Havanna You favorite leather conditioners for very light leather / dark leather combination?
I recently purchased a two tone saddle. It has very pale golden / tan, and very dark havanna like leather. In the past I have used Lexol NF, for blonde leather. It does a good job keeping the leather in good condition, but it leaves the leather tacky feeling and sticky for quite a while.
I would like to know of a different oil / conditioner, which doesn't leave that stickiness, and doesn't darken (so Neatsfoot is out). Also, something with a balmy consistency would be great, so I can be very precise where it goes, without it running much.
I use Passier Ledersbalm on ALL my saddles (I have two-toned saddles, western saddles, and dressage saddles). It's the best product EVER, and hasn't darkened any of my leather. The leather absorbs it really quickly and leaves it feeling soft.
It is a balm and has great consistency. One tub has lasted me two years, and I clean my tack A LOT. (Twice a month at LEAST).
