Saddle Horse Tack
Is there any way I can find out how much my saddles and other horse tack are worth?
I have one western saddle and one australian saddle, both are older but in very good condition, as well as two bridles. I'm not using them, so I want to sell them, but I don't know how much I can sell them for.
Take your tack to a local shop where they do appraisals ( look in the Yellow Pages for a place near where you live) and get it appraised. They should be able to tell you its market value. If your saddles have fancy metalwork on them ( silver studs, etc,) they will sell at a higher price. Make sure that the tack is squeaky clean before you have it appraised- dirt has a way of lowering value. Bits and metalwork should be polished, and the saddles themselves must be free of dirt and obvious hazards. Hope this helps.

Well i don't know much about horses but i think that since both or you sound to be headstrong. You two are going to have to find a way to work together. (i also am nnot found of the way the owner teats them they way you describe). That may be why Magarita is so strong willed. She wants it her way and no other way. While her owner will make it his way, you aren't like that and she probly sences it and wants to see what she can do with you. If i were you i'd just work with her and over time, i am sure you two will be perfect together.
(i also think the reason you and Chkeetah didn't mesh well is because she is used to one way; her owners way, and no one elses.)
But with enough practice and time, you'll be fine with Margarita. Good luck. and i hope i either encouraged you a little, or at the very least was able to get you to laugh at me, giving you some "words of wisedom" when i know nothing about horses
