Saddle Maker

Anyone know of any handmade western saddle makers? Help!?
I'm looking for a handmade saddle maker to make me a saddle. I've found a few websites but it's hard to find one that will make a barrel saddle!
Can anyone find something good, or have some experience with this?
I know of at least two saddle makers in my area.. I have only personally ordered from one, but I LOVE my saddle.. It was probably the best thing I could do for my horses and myself. Both are fairly obscure local tack shops so I'd suggest looking around your area instead of online if you haven't done so already. Neither of these tack shops have websites, but rather more 'word of mouth' places. Ask around at shows, clinics, bigger tack shops, trail rides, ect..
I know this doesn't actually 'help' you find a saddle maker, its more of a suggestion.. Since I'm from MN, I'm not familiar with PA, so obviously I don't know what you have for tack shops so happy hunting, and good luck!

Saddlemaker Charon Caldwell with Dr. Joseph Leviner PART 1
Need help finding info on a saddle maker...Donnie Haney - a handmade western saddle.?
If you know anything please let me know.
He is from Texas.
I found a circle A brand on the saddle.
That is an American brand saddle from Chattanooga Tenn. Not really a high end product. They started using the in house makers names on the saddles some years back to try and add a touch of whatever to the product and give it a feel of custom work. It also was intended to boost the pride in workmanship of the employees. Some saddles were also contracted out to private makers with an area reputation and I understand that they would also include their name on certain models. The Logo on the carrier is American Saddlery.

I've been trying to find info on this maker for some time. I have a great ranch roper made by Carl Sanders that I bought for $500 in Spring 2007. I have since had several saddle makers look at it and they all said not to take less than $1500 if I planned to resell. Other than that, I can't locate anything. Please let me know if you find out the information. I'll post if I find anything.
Many horses do not like being ridden bare back. Sometimes it is that they are not used to it. Sometimes because it is less comfortable. Sometimes this is the shape of the horse's back and sometimes it is because the person riding is too heavy or too underweight(which causes the pelvic bones to push into the back.
My wife likes her syhthetic because it is light weight and fits all our horses well. She uses a big horn.
