Saddle Racks
Does anyone know where to get an aluminum western saddle rack that stands on the floor and is arched?
Not the fold up one, the one shaped round like the horses back. I used to have one and can't find it anywhere.

Aerosmith- Back in the Saddle
is this a good price for a horse trailer?
hi so were thinking of buying a trailer and we found one that looks like its in good condition, the add says:
1990 circle J horse trailer for 1,650.00
extra tall and wide,
good tires with a spare
padded divider and escape door on both sides
slide out saddle rack on both sides (under manger/feeders)
full back door
brakes and lights all working
do you think this is a good deal? were going to look at it sometime this week

Do you have a link to an ad with pictures?
The pictures determine the price, to be honest. You can tell if the trailer hasn't been hooked up or moved in six months easily.
I've seen older trailers sell for more because they were presented well and in very good shape, and taken care of (and not left sitting out in a field), and I've seen newer trailers sell for less just because someone didn't clear all the junk out of it.
If the pics are decent and it at least looks well-kept, you still need to see it in person, preferably fully hooked up to a pickup so you can see that everything works. You'll also need to pull up the floor mats to check the floor, and inspect very closely for rust and dry rot, especially in the tires. It's always a good idea to invest in a new set of tires (with a spare) when you get the trailer.
