Saddle Shop

my pals got a fishing/saddle shop. he needs to build a web site of his goods. any suggestions?
as i said my mates got his own shop and no he's not rich. he got someone to design a website for him as a favour but it's very bitty and haphazard if you know what i meen? is there a way that he can get amore proffesional look even if he does it himself, he doesnt have much spare time but he is quite good with his pc?
Google Page Creator is quite good and simple to use (but no good if you have your own domain name because the pages will be called yoursitename.googlepages.com)

If he wants to sell items, why not setup an Ebay Shop. Ebay has plenty of customers.

There are plenty of "Content Mangement Systems" available that allow users to create web sites without too much technical expertise. If you want to you can then pay someone to create a "template" to give it a specific look and feel of what you want. The most popular is probably Joomla but it not the easiest to use. I would recommend "Content Made Simple"

Otherwise find a local company that you can trust, get them to provide examples of their work, make sure you specify exactly what it is you want and then get a price for that work. The better you specify what it is you want, the better it will be, and make sure you get it all in writing.

Wow! Super nice. And just when I am in the market for new carry on luggage. I was looking at Orvis and Filson, but I am liking the style of these. I dont mind the oval thingy, If I did I would just use a razor blade and cut the stitching, have an oval made with my initials on it at the local saddle shop and sew it on in place.
