Ha, ha, yea I kinda agree, having met lots of male riders who complain about 'trapping certain parts of their anatomy'!
Often wondered how men throughout the centuries have managed to gallop bareback, almost certainly without the use of jockstraps...??
Only thing about riding sidesaddle is that after sitting in that peculiar position for so long, your body just seizes up a bit and I can't imagine riding like this for hours on end or going into battle. (Last time I rode sidesaddle I walked sideways like a crab for about half an hour afterwards...maybe it's just me!)
Do men nowadays ever ride side saddle or would that just look silly?
I believe in the 'olden days' disabled men did sometimes ride side saddle when the normal position wasn't possible or too uncomfortable.
