Very Side
High Side of automotive AC become very hot?
1989 Ford Thunderbird with 3.8 V6. Recently, I had the AC converted to 134a. The AC is working great. My question is more of a curious one. The high pressure side piping becomes very hot while in use. In fact, I cannot keep my hands on for more than 1 second. Is this anything to be concerned about?
no, compressing the gas to liquid makes heat from friction or some such nonsense.when you uncompress, it boils at below freezing, and at the boil area, will remove heat from surrounding area through thermoconductivity. i might be sketchy on this, i may or may not have slept through this course in the navy.its normal.

The Crash - Thorn In My Side
Are seats on the very far right side of the Chicago Theater limited view?
I am in Row B of section 1L of the Chicago Theater, seats 109-111, which are as far to the side as you can go. Will the view of the stage be limited? Will we be able to clearly see the center stage without hurting our neck? Going to see Regina Spektor there on September 12th, thanks!
You will be very close in the second row but upstage, stage right will not be visible. This area is in the far left as you enter the theater.
Most of the action will be stage center so you won't miss much.
