Simco Saddles

Western saddle fit help?
I have a compact little reining/cutting bred filly that is 4 and still growing. She is built downhill and has a shorter back. She out grew my Simco barrel saddle with FQHB. So, I have my sisters Circle Y equitation saddle with FQHB. Which is too wide, so it tips forward on her withers. I'm very frustrated! She is not in shape and is still growing(butt high), so I don't want to go buy a different one just yet. Is there a good contour pad I can buy? I do NOT want to waste money or hurt my horse.
What would I look for in a different saddle? and/or pad? I have been on a thousands websites and get different answers.
This is her at 2yrs old she is now 4yrs old. http://i1044.photobucket.com/albums/b444/spinin21/jasmine.jpg
saddle wise it is hard to say, for she's going to be a ways off yet from being full grown. I have no idea what your horses back looks like, but I would say if she's pretty narrow and FQHB are that wide on her, I would get semi qh bars in a western saddle. My horse has very high withers and has a short back, and he's a solid paint horse, 6 years old. Even he doesn't fit in QH bars. he's pretty slender though, not the normal stocky or thick build. So if you were really looking for a saddle I would say like I said the semi qh bars, and most likely a 6.5" gullet or less than that. 6 3/4" would probably be too wide, it is for my horse.
If you want a temporary fix until she fills out more, I would recommend getting a built up saddle pad. I use that on high withered horses when they don't have a saddle that fits, and I need to ride them. It's a temporary fix like I said, but it'll relieve pressure off the withers by raising the saddle upwards since there's thick coushining atop the wither area. I would type in built up saddle pad on e-bay. that's where I got mine, they come pretty cheap, and relieve the horse of a lot of pain.

I bought 2 western saddles?
I just bought 2 western saddles for $80. They are older, worn but still usable. One is a Simco and the other is a Big Horn Round Skirt. What is the value of them both out of curiosity? I ride english so I have no idea!!
They are both fairly cheep brands, and are ok quality wise. I have a simco I use that is 30+ years old and still is in pretty good condition.
I would say a new saddle of one of these brands would cost somewhere between $350-650.
Used saddles, like new cars, never hold their value, so I would say you paid about the right price for the used saddles.
(I go to a sale every year where 100s of used western saddles are sold, and usually a very good quality used western saddle goes for no more than 250e.)
