Simco Saddles

QH bars vs Semi-QH bars vs FQH bars?
I'm trying to get a new saddle, but my horse is kind of a difficult fit. She has sort of high narrow withers but wide shoulders. I included some pictures thinking it might help. She's the Appaloosa. I've looked at some websites but havent really been able to find anything that helped. I'm guessing I'll probably need QH bars... but.... I'd like some more opinions. The saddle that I'm interested in is the Dixie Roper by Simco which has QH bars... so I'm hoping it works out.
Thanks in advance for any help!!!

Usually quarter horse bars and semi quarter horse bars are the same, although sizes are not well standardized, so it's best to go by the gullet measurement and swell height sometimes. Full quarter horse bars are flatter to accommodate a more table top shaped back, where quarter horse bars are angled downward more, to accommodate a back that is narrower at the topline and angles outward below the spine. If a horse is very wide at the shoulder, a quarter horse size may be a bit narrow and interfere with the shoulder. But if you go with a full qh bar tree, and it is too wide, it may interfere with the withers if they are high.
So, if your horse has more angle from the spine down to the barrel, and a high narrow withers, there is a good chance that the quarter horse bar tree will fit. Whether or not it will interfere at the shoulders remains to be seen. But with a narrow withers, rather than a wide mutton withers, I'm pretty sure it won't be a problem. Just be careful when you try it on your horse and be sure you can return it if it doesn't fit. If that isn't possible, then it's risky to buy one this way.
