What is the best close contact saddle? (Price can go up to $3000)?
I'm looking to buy a new saddle. I currently have a Stubben Siegfried and I really want to get a better saddle. It is a pretty good saddle but I find that it is very slippery and the pommel is a little too high. I want to get a top of the line saddle but unfortunately I cant exceed $3000. What is the best jumping saddle I can get if I'm looking for soft, good leather, comfort, and in the price range?
I just bought a new Henri De Rivel close contact saddle.
I absolutely LOVE it. It has the most comfortable seat,
and it was only 800.00. You can look at the one I have
on DoverSaddlery.com just type in HDR or Henri De Rivel.
It's the oakbark close contact one. Not only is it great, but
it'll save you a ton of money. I used to have a collegiate close contact,
but I will never again buy anything other than an HDR.
Pessoas are nice too though.
