Stubben Saddles
Conditioning a Stubben saddle?
I am using Passier Lederbalsam 500ml (links below of conditioner) (the blue can only)

Im 13 and I have a Stubben saddle that i just got for christmas which is 5 yrs. old but looks like its in great condition. I am using this conditioner for my saddle once a day and my mom & the barn owner said to condition my saddle for approximatley a week. I need tips and any additional info. would be helpful. Thankss! 
p.s. should i be conditioning it once or twice a day? (right now i condition it once a day) is it too much for the saddle??
I love the Passier Lederbalsam! It's the best conditioner I've tried, plus it makes your hands feel soft too. And it's not slimy on your hands like oil would be. It doesn't matter so much what brand of saddle you have, they all are made of leather. So it's not like you need to go out and buy Stubben conditioner now!
Just condition your saddle until the leather feels soft and supple. There is no set number of days that works all the time. When your saddle is too dry the conditioner will soak in almost immediately. But when it gets to the point where the conditioner just sits on the surface and you have to wipe off the excess, you know it's had enough. Don't over-condition your tack as the leather will grow slippery and it will rot the stitching.
Oh, and congratulations on your new saddle! Stubben is a good brand and if you take care of it you could easily have that saddle for another 20 years.

Check out Kuda Store's treeless saddles and breastplate. They cater primarily to the paso fino/ gaited breeds. Kuda makes a very well made and nice looking treeless saddle, in both English (which is what I bought to show in) or trail. All of Mauricio's products are so well made (he's an engineer). I see alot of ugly treeless saddles out there, and this is one that looks stylish and like a normal saddle. Very nice headstalls and reins, too.
The whole group then bustles into the lobby of the building, where they are greeted by the long neck of a huge, herbivorous dinosaur. The kids run past that and around a corner, where stands another, smaller dinosaur.
Which is wearing a saddle.
It is an English saddle, hornless and battered. Apparently, this was a dinosaur used for dressage competitions and stakes races. Any working dinosaur accustomed to the rigors of ranch work and herding other dinosaurs along the dusty trail almost certainly would wear a sturdy western saddle.
This is very much a show dinosaur.
