How do you clean suede leather?
I have a black suede leather jacket. Can I do this myself? What's the most inexpensive way to clean this? Thanks.
Other than a suede brush and a gum eraser, nothing is recommended for suede.

What's the difference between ballroom shoes with suede and leather soles?
What's the difference between a ballroom shoe with black suede sole and one with white leather soles? I was thinking the suede has good traction, but since it accumulates dirt easily, the one with white leather soles would have better traction (until brushed off) in the end, even though it seems slippery at first, since it doesn't accumulate dirt as easily (they just slip right off).
The difference is suede will give you proper traction and the other won't. You wanna get the ones with suede sole, unless it is your intention to dance on particularly dirty floors. Suede is easily cleaned with a wire brush to restore it. Suede is the best material to give you proper traction for ballroom dancing. A pair of suede-soled shoes lasts me about a year, and the sole is NOT the part that wears out first. My partner wears his suede-soled shoes even longer, probably like 2-3 years. They really do last with proper care.
