Western Saddles Lightweight

Can you recommend a good everyday saddle type?
I ride western, and I've been looking into alternative saddle types. I'm interested in Spanish and hornless type saddles, but I'm also very open to other styles. I'd like it to be lightweight, and on the smaller side. I'm not really into the huge roper ones. I do light trail riding, and ring equitation and pleasure. Any suggestions?
You might look into endurance riding saddles. They are typically built to give your the security of a Western saddle, but are more lightweight.
Those Bob Marshall treeless Western saddles weight a lot less than a regular saddle, but they still look traditional. A lot of people like them, but they have a different feel so you'd want to try it out before buying.

Tarq is so beautiful! I love the photo of him and Primavera “necking”.
I'm surprised to learn how popular is the Western saddle. I thought in Europe, only the English saddle would be used. Here in the States, we've got several different saddle styles commonly used, each representing a separate theory and culture of horesmanship, as you surely know. Whole stables are based upon these divisions. How did you become interested in Western saddles and saddlemaking?
