Wintec Dressage
Wintec 2000 All-Purpose?
What are your thoughts on the Wintec 2000 All-Purpose?
Does the suede rub off or wear down?
How many years does the suede last?
Is it comfortable?
Any problem with the horses' backs?
I will ride in it mostly dressage, flat work, jumping, & trails.
I ride an Andalusian/Lipizzan cross gelding mostly.
And also a Quarter Horse gelding.
So, please give me an all-around summary on the Wintec 2000 All-Purpose!
I have ridden in it once.
I rode Rico, my Andalusian/Lipizzan, & he did great in it.
I did basic gaits: walk, trot, canter, halt, rein back.
And I also jumped in it.
We jumped upto 1 & 1/2 feet, and Rico was perfect.
That was the best we've ever done jumping.
The saddle was great.
Can you get one of those brass name plates that you put on the back of the cantle that syas your name on it...can you put those on a wintec??
i love my wintec! the only problem is that your not alowed to show in it. it only comes in black which most judges hate as a saddle color. the sued lasts if you take care of it. you should also get a saddle fitter to check to see if it fits your horses back

i want a Dressage saddle?
can anyone help me get a second hand dressage saddle at a cheap price or where i can get them or what type to get, at the moment i have a wintec all-purpose but recently rode in dressage saddle and cant go back to all-purpose, dressage was so much comfier!!!!
I bought mine on ebay for $150, It's a little worn, but just needed a good cleaning and oiling and I ride in it all the time.
