used wintec english saddles

What do you think of this?

What do you think of a Kincade Close Contact saddle? I have heard, honestly, mixed reviews. I need to upgrade to a bigger, better saddle. I don't need anything special, just something comfortable enough trail rides and quality enough for lower level hunter/jumpers. Anyway, what is your personal opinion of it. Do you have any recommendations for me? My budget is $350. I'm am trying to find a used wintec, or some other kind of used saddle. I can't go to a tack shop, because there are no english tack stores with SEVERAL hours from my area.

Thanks!

About the Kincade: I've never actually ridden in it but there was one at my old barn that everybody loved, however the dye comes off onto the saddle pad or breeches, which could be a deal breaker.

About Wintec: I had one of these and loved it. It's light-weight and is super easy to clean. The only downside is the stirrup "leathers" are pretty tough to feed through the stirrup bar.

Anyway, I have a few tack stores by me but have never gotten a saddle from them. Stores have limited selections so I usually end up online anyway. If you don't want to do that, most 4-h clubs or similar sorts of horse organizations have annual tack sales. Of course they are once a year, but you can get some amazing deals! Google "english tack" or "saddlery" and you'll find some very useful sites. Also ebay.com usually has a suprising selection of saddles. $350 is not that hard of a budget to stick to.
Before you buy anything though you have to know what you're shopping for. Obviously a big, english saddle, but that's quite vague. You're going to want to find out what your horse needs. Your saddle should comfortably clear your horse’s withers, allow for free movement of the shoulders, be the proper length and shape for its back, and be well balanced to provide good weight distribution. Most horses have either extra-narrow, narrow, medium, wide, or extra-wide backs and low, regular, or high withers. It's important that you consider these factors when buying your saddle because otherwise you'll end up with a sore and cranky horse unable to perform at it's best. Your trainer or barn manager will probably be able to help you with this, otherwise there are professional saddle-fitting experts you can call. Also note that the right kind of saddle pad along with supplementary pads can do wonders as far as relieving pressure points. If you're riding multiple horses you may consider a "treeless" saddle or one with the CAIR panel system option, otherwise you should invest in multiple saddles.

If you buy a saddle online make sure you can have a test ride. Also, don't pass up a saddle because the seat isn't comfy enough for your longer rides, they make cushions for that kind of thing.
Good luck!
