Wintec Pro Stock Saddle
Problem with Wintec Pro Stock Saddle?
Our 2 saddles are the older style, with suede panels. The suede has worn so badly on both sides of both saddles that there are now holes right through to the material underneath. The saddles are 5 years old, and we use them mainly for polocrosse in the summer. Anyone else experienced this problem with their Wintec stock saddles?
In my experience, Wintec's are very cheap saddles. They're something you buy until you have the money to get a leather saddle.
They do wear pretty quickly; I've noticed this on several English saddles.
As long as there's still material under the suede they're probably still safe to use, although there's no real way to fix it.

Second, we offer the old Drag News weekly newspaper on CD. Vol. 5 covers racing from '70 to '71. I don't know for sure if what you're looking for would be there, but it might. Hope that helps!
