Help with a saddle pad?
I'm looking for something for my close contact Wintec saddle to go over my quilted pad. I use quilted pads all the time, and I only use my fleece for shows. I can't use a quilted and a fleece pad, because then the saddle doesn't fit right. I have a ton of foam pads (high whither support and 1" thick foam half pad), but they don't help. So I'm looking for something that is shock absorbing and thinner than a fleece pad. I've seen those Thinline (I think that's what they're called?) pads, and I was kinda interested in those.
Oh..and I'm on a budget.

My saddle fits her fine, trust me. I just want something to help shock absorption. I can use a fleece pad by itself, but not with the quilted too. My CC quilted pads are pretty thick.
Thinline pads are supposed to be the best. But they aren't so good if you're on a budget! They're like $90-$200 depending on what you get. Really, the fewer pads the better. If you're horse doesn't really need it, then don't bother getting it! You might have luck with a wintec pad. Gel really sucks. Memory foam is pretty good. Wool felt is da bomb.
