I'm looking to get a cheap english saddle that is also a good english saddle. I mainly only go trail riding and I'm taking jumping lessons.
The only tack store near me has saddles for about 700 dollars. I'd rather get a new saddle for 350 dollars than a used one for 700.
I've heard from some people that this saddle is great and others that its terrible...
Wintecs can be nice or they can be crap. That actually looks pretty decent.
I agree with Live it up though, you can find a very nice used saddle for that price. Start hitting up craigslist and ebay. You would be amazed at some of the deals out there. Also place an ad on craigslist detailing what you are looking for- you never know, might get lucky!
One drawback to ordering online is you can't get your hands on the saddle until you buy it. No way to feel the material, no way to inspect it to see if it will actually fit your horse or try it on him. Check out used saddles online and on craigslist, you might be surprised with what you come up with!
