Youth Saddle Stirrup
What size youth western saddle should I get?
I'm looking at getting a youth sized western saddle to keep in my barn as there's a lot of younger kids that come over for 'pony rides' and there's a couple kids I'm going to be giving lessons to. The majority of kids range in age from 7-13. I'm curious what youth size seat I should get that would work for these kiddos? I am clueless about kid sizing as I do not have kids of my own and my saddles won't work as the smallest I have available is 15" seat and I can't make the stirrups short enough for them to reach.
buddy stirrups work good. but if your wanting a saddle Id go with a 12 inch or 13 inch saddle. & the stirrups should adjust fine for that age range if not you can always add a extra hole if it is a cheap saddle. I bought my big horn western saddle that is a 12 inch for $75 off of ebay.
